Welcome!

Hi, Hexxa and I will be your hosts for this workshop. It was a long trip from planet Binary to get here, but it's always fun to visit Earth when we are on school breaks!

In this workshop, we will learn how to make really cool web sites using XHTML and CSS. XHTML, which stands for Extensible Hypertext Markup Language, is the modern reformulation of HTML using the rules of XML. CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. Used together, XHTML and CSS provide a powerful solution for creating web sites that look good and are easy maintain.

Before we get started, we have to let you know that I had to bring along my kid brother, Fourofor, to this workshop. He is such a nice, considerate boy ... yeah, in my dreams! Actually, he is sometimes a bit of a prankster. He likes to lurk in the background and mess up people's web pages (not to mention my life). So, please just be patient with him if he creates havoc and chaos with your magnum opus today (or any other day, for that matter!).
